The Arise and Lead Foundation is a multi-service organization focused on uplifting women and girls through empowerment, faith, and leadership. in Edmonton, Alberta. Our services include leadership development, skills and education training, faith and wellness workshops, community engagement activities and advocacy initiatives.

We serve approximately 1,00 young girls and women in Edmonton each year. Our mission is to empower women and girls to rise above barriers, unlock their potential, and lead with confidence, integrity, and purpose. To achieve this, we provide community-specific programming in locations across Edmonton, which focuses on under-resourced communities.

The communities that we serve are distinct, culturally diverse areas whose economic progress has significantly lagged behind other neighborhoods in Edmonton. We are committed to ensuring that these community’s young people have access to the resources, tools and opportunities they need to survive and thrive.

Our headquarters is located in Edmonton, Alberta. We operate various programming locations in different neighborhoods, including North West, West, South West to better serve our communities.

Our funding comes from a combination of public and private sources. Currently, approximately 60% of our funding is self funded, with the remaining support coming from foundations, corporations, and generous individual donors.
